We have two support meetings that consist of sharing our stories and education events like those below or theme meetings with handouts and/or videos like Ted Talks. All parents, families, friends, allies and LGBTQ+ individuals are welcome. Parents or other responsible adult must accompany children.

6/6/2017 - “Parents Coming to Terms,” SB presentation for Ohio Attorney General’s Office employee inclusion group
8/20/2017 - “Intersectionality: What is it and Why it Matters for All” with Sile Singleton, Mozaic, Equitas Health, and Shannon Winnubst, PhD, OSU Professor, Gender and Women’s Studies
8/24/2017 - “Making the Business Case for LGBTQ Inclusion” SB presentation by Jaron Terry and personal testimony by board member Cynthia Vermillion, Hilliard Rotary Club
9/17/2017 - “Making School a Safe Place for LGBTQ+ Kids” with Pam Antos, MEd, Hilliard City Schools
2/21/2017 - Testified against “conversion therapy” at Columbus City Council
3/22/2017 – Staffed table display at the Veteran Administration Health Fair
5/30/2017 - WVKO Radio 1580, The Praise, interviewed Jaron Terry of PFLAG Columbus, along with Josh Culbertson of We Are Compatible, and Siobhan Nelson-Boyd of Stonewall Columbus
6/11/2017 – Staffed table display at Cardinal Health’s Pride celebration
6/17/2017 - Marched in Pride Parade with new banner (awarded grassroots grant by Stonewall Columbus)
6/23/2017 - Provided statement to OUTLOOK magazine re: Pride events
7/17/2017 - Attended Stonewall Columbus community conversation
7/18/2017 - Attended BRAVO anti-oppression training featuring Papusa Molina
7/24/2017 - Attended BQIC (Black, Queer, Intersectional Columbus) conversation
8/12/2017 - Attended Equality Ohio Stakeholder Summit, 9a-3p at St. John’s UCC
8/20/2017 - Staffed table display with brochures at Glennon Doyle event, The Burkhart Center of First Community Church
8/25/2017 - Attended BRAVO’s reception for national anti-violence organization
9/8/2017 - Submitted testimony in favor of HB160 to Equality Ohio
9/17/2017 - Participated in “Coffee Conversation” panel at FCC
